I was recommended this company by a family friend who has had work done in the past by them, When contacted I was responded to quickly. A straightforward chat on what I was looking for and a quote was given ( Fantastic compared to some that competitors out there had quoted me ) really happy with the end results and well worth the extra tea and biscuits I have been left to finish off. We could not be happier with the work done on our five sash and case windows - Kenny and the team were wonderful! Fairly priced, easy to communicate with, and professional throughout. A big plus - they were patient with us as we went through the long process of securing a grant from the Dunbar Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme, which part funded the works. Painter did fab job with all five front windows in first level apartment, especially two very challenging with fixed double glazed units to prise off ahead of painting. Did superb job of rubbing down wood applying putty / mastic where needed and paint to all windows He opened double sash cases inwards properly to paint out and insides. Due to works being deferred mid December weather it was very cold but he just got on without wasting time or complaining. End result is excellent I’m very pleased with way windows look with their new winter coats! Recommend painter’s thoroughness including cleaning up after each day work and at end of job. Pleasant polite painter too!

We've just had a very positive experience with Sash and Case installing our double glazing, and paining the frames. They were very methodical in their work, worked hard to finish the job in a tight timeframe with challenging weather. The team were extremely friendly and even worked around two of us working from home. They were great at keeping the house tidy while they were working, and vacuuming up after every day and even cleaning up outside. Highly recommended.

We are really happy with the work the Sash and Case Painting Company have done for us and would highly recommend them! We had the exterior of quite a few of our windows painted and rotten sills replaced. The work is really neat, the painters were professional and punctual - really easy to have around the house, we felt that they were honest about which sills could be patched and which were too far gone (showing us why) and also which windows didn't need to be painted yet. Their pricing was really fair. I've already recommend them to friends. Thanks guys!

The window, despite being in an arkward position, was thoroughly prepared prior to painting. This comprised 2 or 3 coats of odour free quick drying water- based paints. The technician was polite, thorough and helpful, as was the booking service. I highly recommend this company. Daniel.

Roddy did and expert job of painting our sash and case windows inside and out. All very neatly done and he clearly has a knowledge of how these windows are made. I asked for the paint colour to be matched to existing woodwork colour and that was all done without problem.

Sash and Case were great. Prompt assessment and service. Really high quality work on our mouldy paint chipped window which now looks prisitine.The painter, Damian, was diligent and delightful. He even took the brass hardwear off the window rather than cut round it, and put it back, some of it with new screws because the old ones had rusted. All mess was cleaned and cleared up when he left. Highly recommend this firm

Our original Victorian Sash and Case windows were painted on the outside. Some were in a vary bad condition. We also had our modern Sash and Case windows painted as well . After painting they look as good as new . I was very impressed with Roddy’s work and everything was done in an approachable and professional manner.
